The entry fee for the Prize Draw is £2 per ticket and requires you to answer a question about the area. 

You can also earn additional free entries by sharing the competition online, and you get free tickets every time someone else helps promote the competition. Once you've bought tickets we give you your own customised link to promote, so go for it and increase your chances of winning.

There's even an extra £5000 reward for the person whose sharing activity results in the most ticket sales! We allow free written entry by 1st class post, and all entries either paid or free will be treated equally.


While it may seem unusual, this is a 100% legitimate competition with the very real prize of the home featured.

The closing date for entries is February 10th 2020 at 1800hrs GMT and the winner will be drawn electronically in public at the house with the press (Shropshire Star) and a solicitor present, and notified by email and telephone. It might even be covered live on TV.

Local Places to Visit - Ludow is 20 minutes south and again has fabulous restaurants and is full of Shropshire culture. You're within an hour of Birmingham and Chester, and if the weather's nice you can get to across to the Welsh coast and be on the beach in 90 minutes! What is the Local Community Like?

Longnor has a wonderful community made up of a real mix of people - parents with young and older children, couples who have chosen to settle in Shropshire for the outstanding natural beauty and local walks/cycling, and older retired people that love community life and being the surrounding countryside.
Village Hall next to the Church which is used for all sorts of local events (including pub night on the last Friday of every month where villagers volunteer to take turns to run it).

St.Mary's Church (est. 1257) which is THE most beautiful church you have ever seen and is right at the back of the house! Been to many christenings and even a few weddings there, and the local vicars are very much part of the community. And you will have your own footpath leading to the Church.

School Circle and Social Committee help organise school and local events, again all run by parents or people just wanting to help and take part in School Fetes and other fundraising activities for the Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school.

Photography courses run by an award winning photographer who lives next door.
